Imagine having the majority of your strategies and materials stored on a simple flash drive! Better yet, envision quick access to curriculum based lessons that allow you to engage a classroom full of middle and high school students! Well....this website is dedicated to just that by providing therapists with creative and unique ideas that utilize media and technology. Each activity can be downloaded free of charge and saved onto a flash drive for easy access and portability. None of the language activities presented in this forum involve glue sticks, lamination, or worksheets and are easily adapted to any classroom curriculum. Content material in the lessons are relevant and reference the media that our students are exposed to everyday. My hope is that therapists and educators will find these activities engaging and effective for improving communication skills in the students we serve.
I've also included a page with technical tips for saving and storing the activities along with strategies for classroom teaching and documentation. In addition, from a personal perspective, I've added a page on how to develop a Memory Book for adults and families of loved ones dealing with significant memory loss.
